Super Eagles attacker, Emmanuel Dennis, has shared his prediction regarding the fate of Nottingham Forest, Luton Town, Burnley FC, and Sheffield United, who are all fighting against relegation, Soccernet.ng reports.
Dennis, who has been on loan from Nottingham Forest, returned to Watford in January after an unsuccessful stint with Basaksehir FK in Turkey.
The Reds has faced challenges throughout the season, parting ways with manager Steve Cooper and welcoming Nuno Espirito Santo.
Additionally, they were penalized for financial fair play violations, leaving them in the relegation zone with 26 points, just one point above Luton Town.
Despite the difficulties, Dennis expressed confidence in Nottingham’s ability to avoid relegation with five games remaining in the 2024-25 season.
Sharing his thoughts on Sky Sports, Dennis emphasized his belief in the team’s talent, expressing surprise at their low position in the table.
“They are going to stay… it’s just like, I know the players, they are my friends, [and] I just have a lot of confidence in them. I don’t even know how they are even being down there to be honest.
“Normally they need to be like higher [in the table] because the players are so good, they are so many talented players there, amazing guys. [So] I know they are going to stay.” he said.

In their remaining fixtures, Nottingham will face two of the Premier League’s top six clubs, Chelsea and Manchester City, providing them with opportunities to secure crucial points.
Subsequently, the outcome of these matches could significantly impact Nottingham’s bid for survival in the league.
