Victor Boniface reacts to Nathan Tella’s shock at last minute win against Hoffenheim

Bayer Leverkusen has just recorded its eight consecutive win in Bundesliga season

Nigerian midfielder, Nathan Tella is still coming to terms with Bayer Leverkusen’s late win against Hoffenheim, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 24-year-old was brought into the game at the 86th minute and barely two minutes after, made an assist for Patrick Schick to score the winning goal.

The Nigerian star took to social media to express his awe at the interesting turn of events. Tella in a post made on X simply wrote “wow”, expressing his astonishment at the dramatic turnaround.

His Bayer Leverkusen teammate Victor Boniface wasted no time in reacting to Tella’s shock with some playful banter.

Known for his witty remarks, Boniface replied with the phrase “Werey say na wow” in a typical Nigerian response.

Boniface, who has been sidelined for a while, is back in training and eager to make his full comeback in days soon to come.

The Nigerian star’s impressive skills have caught the attention of English Premier League giants Chelsea and Arsenal.

Tella was also part of the Super Eagles squad that participated in the international friendlies against Ghana and Mali in Morocco. He however did not get to showcase his impressive skills on the pitch.

The Nigerian duo remain significant contributors to the success of Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga season.
