Europa League: Ademola Lookman’s Atalanta to face Liverpool, Boniface and Tella to face West Ham in quarter-final fixtures

Patrik Schick scored two additional minutes goals to help Leverkusen secure win over Qarabag F.K last night.

Ademola Lookman’s Atalanta have been drawn against Liverpool, while Victor Boniface’s Bayer Leverkusen will play against West Ham United in the quarter-final of the UEFA Europa League, Soccernet.ng reports.

The European journey ended for Cyriel Dessers and Rangers last night as they lost to Benfica by a lone goal from Rafa Silva at the Ibrox Stadium in Scotland last night.

Samuel Chukwueze came off the bench in Milan’s 3-1 over Slavia Prague, helping the Rossoneri to the quarter-finals. The seven-time UEFA Champions League winners will play against fellow Italian side, A.S. Roma on the 11th of April at the San Siro. The return leg will be played seven days later at the Olympic Stadium in Rome.

Ademola Lookman scored his first Europa League goal of the 2023/2024 campaign yesterday in his side’s 2-1 victory over Viktor Gyokeres’ Sporting Lison, winning the tie 3-2 on aggregate.

Gasperini’s men will travel to Anfield to face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in front of the Kop, in what is set to be an intense match-up as the Merseysiders look to give their gaffer the perfect send-off.

At the Bay Arena, Patrik Schick came off the bench to extend Leverkusen’s magical unbeaten run and to bail them from a round of sixteen exit in the Europa League.

With Boniface set to return at the end of this month, Die Werkself will have all guns blazing as they host David Moyes’ West Ham on the 11th of April before travelling to London the following week.

The winner of the tie between Leverkusen and West Ham will play against the winnner of the clash between Roma and A.C. Milan.

Should Atalanta defeat Liverpool, they’ll await the winner of the clash between Angel Di Maria’s Benfica, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s Olympique De Marseille.
