Esther Onyenezide scored four goals in three games during the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Costa Rica
Super Falconets forward, Esther Onyenezide, has expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to sign with Liga F side, Madrid CFF, Soccernet.ng reports.
Robo Queens and Madrid Women’s Football Club have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Nigerian player, who will represent the Spanish side for the next three seasons.
Earlier reports by Soccernet.ng suggested that Esther, along with her Nigeria U-20 teammate Opeyemi Ajakaye, had joined the club from Nigeria. This was officially confirmed and announced by the club on their social media platforms just hours ago.
In response, Esther took to her social media page to express her appreciation and readiness to embark on her European journey as soon as possible.
“New home, New chapter! Grateful for the opportunity and ready to make the most of it. Let’s go!” she wrote on her X (formerly Twitter) page.
The club also confirmed Ajakaye’s signing with a video showcasing her during her medical examination, and she is set to remain with the club until 2027.

Esther caught the attention of Madrid CFF for her skills as an offensive midfielder, her physical prowess, her tactical awareness, and her ability to score direct free kicks.
She has showcased her talent on numerous occasions, including during her participation in the World Cup in Costa Rica, where she scored four goals in three games.
