Osimhen has been linked with a transfer away from Naples in recent months, and he seems to have made his decision
Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has revealed that he has decided on his next move ahead of next summer’s transfer window, Soccernet.ng reports.
Osimhen is currently one of the hottest properties in the market. The 25-year-old Super Eagles star has been one of the best strikers in the world for the last two years. Last season, he helped Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years after netting 26 goals in 32 appearances for the club.
Following his impressive campaign, the former Lille man was the subject of many transfer talks. Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Real Madrid, PSG, and Arsenal were rumoured to be interested in a deal. But it did not work out, and Napoli got him to pen a new deal, keeping him at the club till 2026.
Nonetheless, the talks have not stopped, as Arsenal and Chelsea appear to be at loggerheads for Osimhen’s signature.
In a new development, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Osimhen has made up his mind on his next move.
“I have already made my decision on the next step to do at the end of the season.
“I already made up my mind. I already have my plan, I know what I want to do, the next step I want to take”, told CBS per Fabrizio Romano.
Although Osimhen did not categorically state that he will leave Napoli at the end of the season, it seems likely that the Nigerian will leave. However, his next destination is still unknown.
