Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina, clinched the November Goal of the Month award for his spectacular performance, securing the accolade with a breathtaking strike during their 2-0 victory against Aston Villa at the City Ground, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian defender made a switch from Italian Serie A side, Torino, and has been giving the Trick Trees a good value of their money.

The 27-year-old defender showcased his attacking prowess by unleashing a powerful shot from outside the box just five minutes into the match, marking his maiden goal for Nottingham Forest since joining on a free transfer during the summer.

Aina’s exceptional goal, l earned him an impressive 50 percent of the total vote, which shows his impact and popularity among the Reds.

Since his arrival at Nottingham Forest, Aina has been a key figure, featuring in 10 league appearances for the Reds and proving his worth both defensively and in contributing to the team’s attacking plays.

Meanwhile, when the Super Eagles of Nigeria travel to Cote d’Ivoire in a bid to secure their fourth Africa Cup of Nations title, he will be aiming to make a significant impact for Jose Peseiro’s troops.
