The Super Eagles midfielder has impressed at Club Brugge, and some European clubs have shown interest in recruiting him
Turkish Süper Lig champions Galatasaray could attempt to sign Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika in the January transfer window, Soccernet.ng reports.
Galatasaray won the Turkish Süper Lig last season, and they are looking to defend their championship this season. They currently sit second in the Turkish top-flight with 40 points after 15 points. They are separated from first-place Fenerbahce by their inferior goal difference.
The Climboms are looking to retain their trophy, and they already have a star-studded team with stars like Wilfred Zaha, Mauro Icardi, Hakim Ziyech, and Tanguy Ndombele.
However, they are looking to add more firepower to their ranks. According to GGG Scout, Galatasaray are looking to sign Onyedika in January.
The Super Eagles midfielder has enjoyed a steady rise, joining Club Brugge from Danish club FC Midtjylland, and some top sides are already monitoring the youngster.
The 22-year-old is expected to take over Wilfred Ndidi’s place when he eventually retires from the Super Eagles.
This season, Onyedika has made 15 appearances for Club Brugge in the Belgian Jupiler League, and is one of the most important players at the club. He is currently valued at €9 million per Transfermarkt.
