Nigerians abroad: Ejuke, Adebayo, Odoffin, Ahanonu, on target; Ronaldo’s stunner sinks Godwin’s Al Akhdoud (Video)

Soccernet.ng highlights some eye-catching displays from Nigerian footballers outside the country’s shores on Friday, November 24, 2023.

In the English Championship, Fred Onyedinma impressed on the right flank, while Hakeem Odoffin struck in first-half stoppage time to help Rotherham United claim a 1-1 draw at home to Leeds United.

In the Albanian Superloga, Nnamdi Franklin Ahanonu opened the scoring for Skënderbeu Korçë as they made light work of Teuta Durrës in a 3-1 win.

Over to the Azerbaijani Premyer Liqa, where Jese Sekidika netted his first-ever goal for Sabah, but it was not enough to stop the home side from falling to a 1-2 defeat against Qarabag.

Taofeek Ismaheel scored his second goal in three matches to lift SK Beveren to a thrilling 3-2 victory at home against Dender in the Belgian Challenger Pro League.

In the Belgian Pro League, Chidera Ejuke came off the bench to fire a stunning equaliser for Royale Antwerp in their 1-1 draw away to Sint-Truiden.

It was Ejuke’s first goal for Antwerp since he joined from CSKA Moscow for free in the summer.

In the Estonia Cup, Ahmed Adebayo netted one of the consolation goals for Tammeka as they exited the competition following a 4-2 loss to FCI Levadia at the Sportland Arena in Tallinn.

Maryann Ezenagu and Zenit secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory away to Francisca Ordega’s CSKA Moscow in the Russian Superliga Women.

In the Saudi League, Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice in three minutes – including an incredible long-range effort – to guide Al Nassr to a 3-0 win over Al Akhdoud, who had Super Eagles winger Stephen Godwin on the pitch from start to finish.

In Hungary, Bright Edomwonyi’s energetic attacking bursts were rendered useless as his Diósgyőr stumbled to a 4-1 defeat against Paks.
