Super Eagles’ Wilfred Ndidi scoops Skybet Player of The Month award for September

Ndidi had a superb month with Leicester City, and he has been rewarded for his efforts

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been awarded the Player of the Month for September at Leicester City, Soccernet reports.

Ndidi has had a super start to the Championship season. The 26-year-old midfielder has featured in all nine of the Foxes games this season. He was very important for the club in September, helping them win three of their five games.

They were knocked out of the EFL Cup after a 3-1 loss to Liverpool, but they won three of their four league games. Ndidi scored one goal in those four games, and he was domineering in midfield.

Following his performances, he was awarded the Player of the Month for September at Leicester City after their 4-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers on Sunday.

Leicester City sit on top of the English Premiership and look very good to gain promotion back to the English top flight this season. Ndidi has been rejuvenated since the start of the season, and he would look to continue with his performances for the remainder of the season.

Leicester City have two games against Preston North End and Stoke City before the international break in mid-October.
