Ndidi happy with Leicester City win at Swansea

Leicester City got relegated from the top-flight last season, but they have been in superb form in the Championship and are favourites to get promoted 

Super Eagles striker Wilfried Ndidi has shared his satisfaction with Leicester City’s 3-1 victory over Swansea City at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday, Soccernet reports.

Leicester City continued their brilliant run in the English Championship on Saturday with a big 3-1 victory over Swansea City.

Nigeria midfielder Ndidi was on the starting lineup for the Foxes and put up a solid performance. He registered three interceptions, three tackles, three key passes, and a 92% pass accuracy.

Ndidi also had a role in Leicester City’s second goal, showing great awareness to leave the ball for Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, who finished with aplomb from inside the box.

The victory ensured that the Foxes maintained their position at the summit of the table with 33 points, five points above Ipswich after 12 games.

After the game, Ndidi celebrated the win on his Instagram page. The Super Eagles midfielder wrote, “We back, the run continues.”
