Osimhen has not scored in his last two games, and he would be looking to end his barren run on Sunday
Bologna defender Sam Beukema has warned that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen will have a tough day in the office when Napoli come visiting for their Serie A fixture on Sunday, Soccernet reports.
Osimhen has failed to score in his last three games for Napoli. He was caged against Lazio and Genoa. However, he was just unlucky against Braga in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.
The Super Eagles striker will be looking to end his barren run when Napoli return to Serie A action with a game against Bologna on Sunday. However, he may not have it so easy, as Dutch defender Beukema has warned that he studied Osimhen and he will give the Nigerian a tough time.
“‘Osimhen is one of the best strikers in the league and I think also one of the best strikers in Europe, in this modern football,” Beukema said per Napoli Magazine.
“It will be a good challenge for me and also for Lucumi. But I think it will be a difficult day for him too. At least, I hope.”
“He’s like I do with the other attackers: how they move, what they do.”
In the last two meetings against Bologna, Osimhen has scored three goals. The 24-year-old would look to add to his tally this weekend.
