“I won’t sleep for three days”- Milan’s Samuel Chukwueze fantasizes on winning the World Cup with Nigeria

Ex-Villareal winger, Samuel Chukwueze picked between winning a World Cup and three Champions League and how he’d feel if he wins it.

A.C. Milan and Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze has expressed how he’d feel, should he win the World Cup with the Super Eagles, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 24-year-old was in fine form as the Nigerian team swept past the True Parrots of São Tomé and Príncipe, winning 6-0, scoring one, and setting up another in ten minutes coming off the bench.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria, having secured five victories out of six of their Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign are on course for a good run to secure major trophies since 2013.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles who are yet to win the World Cup, lost their ticket to battle for the global trophy when they lost to the Black Stars of Ghana.

Nigerian pacy winger has however revealed that he would not pick his club manager’s call if he wins the trophy for Nigeria, and Africa as a whole.

Chukwueze, speaking to the Football Fans tribe, revealed he would take winning a World Cup trophy over three UEFA Champions League titles.

“I will prefer winning the World Cup to winning three Champions League. Winning the World Cup for Nigeria will be a crazy moment.”

“I don’t think I’ll sleep for three days, or probably through a month. I won’t pick up my coach’s call at the moment and for the next month, because we’ll still be jubilating.”

To win the World Cup, qualification is the first process, and Nigeria will kick off the process on November 13th, as they welcome Lesotho to the Godswill Akpabio stadium.
