Ex-Super Eagles coach sends strong message to Osimhen after viral TikTok video

Napoli released a video mocking the Super Eagles striker, and it has caused a lot of reactions

Former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has advised Victor Osimhen to leave Napoli following the video that was posted on the club’s TikTok account to troll him after missing a penalty, Soccernet reports.

Osimhen missed a penalty on Sunday in Napoli’s goalless draw against Bologna on Sunday. Following his miss, the club posted a video on their TikTok account trolling the Nigerian striker. The post was later deleted, but the damage had already been done.

Osimhen deleted all Napoli-related posts from his Instagram, and there was a video of him snubbing his teammates on his way to the club’s facility.

Nonetheless, he still played and scored for the club in their 4-1 bashing of Udinese on Wednesday.

A lot of fans have urged Osimhen to leave the club following the incident, and former Nigeria coach Oliseh shares a similar opinion. He has advised Osimhen to leave the club immediately.

“Forever proud to be Nigerian; One must show personality, work hard & refuse to be intimidated,” Oliseh wrote on Twitter.

“Let Racists and ingrates talk! That’s why they are eternal losers who secretly wish they were created like you! Osimhen needs to leave Napoli as soon as yesterday!!.”

Meanwhile, Napoli have already released a statement apologising to Osimhen. They have been negotiating terms for a contract extension in recent weeks. But with the events of the last few days, it may take a while before the big Nigerian striker agrees.

  • There are many well structured clubs with reputation and class, a million times better than the Naples that would offer Osihmen a golden opportunity like that of Halland to establish himself better in the world of football

  • Imagine struggling Napple that doesn't even get the ball easily to the sticker is talking.... that's sad!

  • If Osihmen wanted a chance to build his career on par with Halland's, he might find it at any number of other prestigious teams that are much more organized and well-known than Naples.

  • There are numerous reputable and prestigious clubs that could provide Osihmen with a golden opportunity akin to Halland's, to further establish himself in the world of football, far surpassing the likes of Naples.
