Bukayo Saka and Erling Haaland have recently received an award from the Professional Footballers’ trade union

Nigerian music sensation, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, added a touch of musical flair to the recently concluded Professional Footballers’ Awards, Soccernet.ng reports.

The renowned Nigerian artist once again displayed his captivating vocal talents at the grand event, which honoured English Premier League players for their exceptional performances during the 2022-23 season.

Davido took center stage and treated the audience to a live rendition of “Unavailable,” a track from his recently released Timeless Album, infusing the award night with his signature energetic performance.

The occasion not only highlighted Davido’s musical prowess but also celebrated the achievements of football stars who excelled on the pitch. Distinguished individuals like Erling Haaland, Bukayo Saka, Lauren James, Marcus Rashford, and many others graced the event and walked away with prestigious awards.

Bukayo Saka, approaching his 22nd birthday in less than six days, received the coveted PFA Young Player of the Year award.

Erling Haaland, who made a significant impact at Manchester City after his transfer in the 2022 summer window, secured the PFA Player of the Year title for his remarkable goal-scoring feats.

Marcus Rashford was acknowledged as the Fan’s Player of the Year, while Chuba Akpom, an aspiring Nigerian striker who recently joined Ajax FC, clinched the PFA Championship Player of the Year award.

The night will be etched in the memory of these accomplished players and their careers. Additionally, Davido’s electrifying musical performance left an indelible mark, turning the Professional Footballers’ Awards into an unforgettable evening of celebration and talent.
