Transfer: Remo Stars set to hijack Joseph Loro as negotiation stalls with Sporting Lagos

Remo Stars are reportedly eying South Sudan U-20 star Joseph Loro amidst Sporting Lagos battle

Ogun State-based club, Remo Stars, are reportedly making a bid to snatch South Sudan U-20 standout Joseph Loro from Sporting Lagos,Soccernet.ng reports.

Loro, who had previously hinted at his move to join the newly promoted Nigeria Professional Football League side Sporting Lagos, showcased his potential in Lagos, indicating his impending transfer.

Born in 2004, Loro shines as a gifted defensive midfielder, boasting an impressive record of nine international caps for his country and two goals.

In light of recent developments, the Ikenne club’s pursuit of securing Junior Lokosa from Sporting has fallen through, opening an opportunity for them to pursue Loro instead.

Remo Stars’ management has reportedly reached out to Loro’s representatives, aiming to entice him with a more lucrative deal that could potentially make him the highest paid player in the history of the Nigerian football league.

Sporting Lagos, having recently earned promotion to the premier tier of the Nigerian League within just two seasons of its establishment, left its mark at the Naija Super 8 tournament by triumphing over Remo Stars.

This time around, after Sporting has outshined Remo Stars on various fronts for several months, the latter is putting forth a determined effort to secure the signing of the former Munuki SCSC as a form of retaliation.

While there has been no official information regarding Sporting Lagos’ plans for Loro following his trial, fans eagerly anticipate his destination as the transfer window unfolds.
