New songs for ritual: Olamide who ‘inspires’ Napoli’s Osimhen celebrates Al Hilal target in new ‘Unruly’ album

Renowned Nigerian rapper Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide, has celebrated Napoli star Victor Osimhen, in his new album, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian football sensation, a key player in the Super Eagles squad, has once again showcased his strong connection with the renowned Nigerian rapper.

This connection was underscored when Osimhen celebrated Olamide’s recent release, “Unruly,” which features an impactful verse dedicated to the football star.

Olamide’s “Unruly” album, his 10th and 11th solo project, dropped to eager listeners’ anticipation. The album boasts an impressive lineup of artists, including CKay, BNXN, Fireboy DML, Rema, and Asake.

However, one standout moment for the Nigerian international was Olamide’s dedicated verse in the track titled “Celebrate.”

Earlier, in an exclusive interview with Soccernet.ng, Osimhen divulged his pre-match rituals and his affinity for Olamide’s music.

The Napoli striker, who has attracted attention from top football clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain, and Al Hilal, expressed his profound admiration for Olamide’s rap prowess.

Osimhen disclosed that certain rap verses by Olamide resonate deeply with him, serving as a wellspring of motivation before crucial football matches.

“There are some kinds of raps he [Olamide] has done in the years that are really inspirational to me.” he explained.

“Ma fo e lenu bi t’Osimhen!!! Y’all go and listen to unruly by the legend,” Osimhen revealed on his Instagram story, applauding Olamide’s lyrical reference to him in the track.

Olamide’s “Unruly” album, characterized by its inspiring verses and captivating melodies, has garnered attention from music enthusiasts and sports figures like Osimhen.

The new album will provide Osimhen with a nice tune to aid with his music routine before games as he continues to create strides in football.
