Huddersfield’s Head Coach, Neil Warnock, has compared Malian talent, Brahima Diarra, to Victor Moses, reminiscing on their time together.
Premier League veteran and a labelled relegation expert, Neil Warnock has compared one of his players, Brahima Diarra, Victor Moses, Soccernet.ng reports.
Neil Warnock, who has managed a wealth of Premier League teams including Cardiff City, Crystal Palace, Leeds United, Queens Park Rangers, Middlesbrough, and now Huddersfield Town, who are currently in the Championships.
Neil Warnock worked with Moses during their time at Crystal Palace between 2007 and 2010 and enjoyed their time together.
Speaking of Brahima Diarra, he labelled the twenty-year-old as “Young Diarra”, highlighting his pace and core strength as abilities that remind him of the now Spartak Moscow footballer.
Moses and Warnock also look to have formed a good relationship after their time together, as Wales Online revealed that Moses texted the seventy-four-year-old, telling him about a particular moment that changed his life for the better.
After losing to Kelechi Iheanacho’s Leicester in their last championship game, Warnock mentioned how proud he was of the fight his team put in despite being a man down, and ahead of his team’s next game against Middlesbrough, he drew a comparison between Moses and Diarra, mentioning how youngster reminds of the Nigerian
The coach said; “Young Diarra, who would have thought? He reminds me of Victor Moses that I had at Palace, and I’m enjoying watching him.”
Warnock’s side will face Middlesbrough on Saturday, while Victor Moses continues to ply his trade in Russia as Spartak face Zenit Saint Petersburg in the Russian Premier League on Sunday.
