Cristiano Ronaldo: former Madrid superstar winning on and off field after partner bagged lucrative deal

Christiano Ronaldo scored a brace to help Al Nassr claim a 2-1 victory over Al-Hilal in the Arab Club Champions Cup final but has been facing criticism thereafter following his club’s two defeats in two games in the new Saudi Professional League

Portuguese Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is making the headlines on and off the field for both good reasons. After recently winning his first trophy since he moved to Saudi Arabia, his partner Georgia Rodriguez has also secured a big money deal, Soccernet.ng reports.

The former Manchester United forward raised eyebrows after leaving Old Trafford in a lucrative £200m/year contract to the middle east in January.

But his arrival has since brought several top players to the Saudi League, with his former teammate and Ballon D’or winner Karim Benzema, who joined the league champions Al Ittihad in June among the influx of players from the European leagues.

He scored 14 goals in the second part of the league season but it was not enough to help his side win the Saudi Pro League, with Al Nassr finishing second behind Al Ittihad.

However, the 38-year-old has won his first trophy since his transfer to Saudi Arabia after scoring two goals in his club’s 2-1 win over Al Hilal in the Arab Club Champions Cup final.

The Portuguese and his teammates have since been facing criticism after failing to pick a point from their first two league matches of the Saudi Professional League campaign.

Nevertheless, Ronaldo’s long-time partner, Georgina Rodriguez, has secured a lucrative modeling deal confirming that the Al Nassr forward is not only winning on the field but off the field as well.

Rodriguez recently fulfilled one of her big dreams after starring on the cover of Vogue magazine. The deal is reportedly worth more than 100,000 euros, a record figure for a magazine in Portugal.

Earlier, there was speculation about a potential breakup between them. However, both individuals have since taken steps to quell the rumors. The 29-year-old Spanish influencer recently shared a picture of the family at a cinema in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner will be looking to return to winning ways on the field when his side plays against Al Fateh in their next match, while his partner will aim to continue securing lucrative deals.

Both partners have two daughters between them, Alana Martina and Bella Esmeralda.
