Watch: Super Eagles sensation returns to Cardiff City’s training session after nine-month absence

Jamilu Collins returned to training for Cardiff City, after a long absence due to an injury.

Super Eagles and Cardiff City player, Jamilu Collins, has marked his comeback after a nine-month absence due to injury, Soccernet.ng reports.

The talented left-back showcased his ballboy skills as he resumed the training session with Cardiff City gearing up for a series of friendly matches ahead of the upcoming season.

In an uplifting video shared on Cardiff City’s official Instagram page, Collins was seen entering the training pitch with a bag full of balls, sporting a beaming smile.

With a playful bounce of one of the balls, he joined his teammates on the pitch, demonstrating his agility and determination to contribute to the club’s promotion campaign to the Premier League.

Collins, who initially embarked on his European journey with the HNK Rijeka youth team, joined Cardiff City from FC Paderborn before suffering a knee injury against West Brom last August, which sidelined him for the entire previous season.

Now fully recovered, the 28-year-old is eager to maintain his fitness and play a pivotal role in the team’s quest for success.

Having earned his national team call-up back in 2018 for an African Cup of Nations qualifying game against Seychelles, Collins aspires to secure a spot in the squad for the forthcoming tournament in Ivory Coast next year.

With his return to training, Cardiff City fans can look forward to witnessing his dynamic performances on the field once again.
