Super Eagles defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel, has two suitors from England, Soccernet.ng reports.

According to the news in the British press; Bournemouth and Leeds United want to sign the Nigerian star of the Yellow-Navy Blue team. In the news, it was stated that both clubs started negotiations with both the player and Fenerbahçe management.

The 25-year-old, born in Okija, Nigeria, started his professional football career in the United Kingdom with the youth setup at Blackpool before making a move to Queens Park Rangers, where he played over a hundred games, across four seasons, before making a winter transfer move to Turkish giants, Fenerbaçhe in January 2021.

The Yellow Canaries management have also confirmed the transfer fee of the versatile player. Osayi’s versatility has seen him employed across several positions, from a right back to a wing-back, to a right winger and Fenerbaçhe’s management are reportedly willing to allow the transfer of Bright Osayi-Samuel if the transfer fee is around 10 million euros.

AFC Bournemouth, after securing top-flight status in the Premier League for the 2023/2024 season, are looking to build a strong squad to ensure their safety in the league for further seasons, while a transfer to Leeds could be harder, considering they just relegated, and most of their players will be looking to leave, and this status could make it harder for players to fancy a move to Elland road.
