The Super Falcons star has recently been named in Randy Waldrum’s team for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup

The Super Falcons’ talented striker, Rasheedat Ajibade, has once again showcased her unwavering support for her community and grassroots team, Soccernet.ng reports.

In an inspiring act of generosity, Ajibade has gifted football boots to her community and a group of exceptionally talented young girls, empowering them to pursue their dreams with renewed determination.

Over the course of a year, Ajibade diligently collected these boots from both her former and current teammates, ensuring that they carry not only the physical essence of the game but also the indomitable spirit of the game.

These teammates include Brazilian player, Ludmila Silva, Swedish goalie, Hedvig Lindahl, Virginia Torrecilla and a host of others

Raised in the very same community, Ajibade understands first hand the transformative power of football and aims to create boundless opportunities for the next generation of budding athletes.

Sharing her heartfelt gesture on social media, Ajibade expressed, “So I collected these football gears in 1 year from my past and present club teammates to support talented young lads in my community and my grassroots team who can’t afford or struggle to acquire the necessary equipment to exhibit their exceptional skills.”
