Moses Simon played an important role in helping French side Nantes avoid demotion to Division Two last season

After helping the country secure an early ticket to next year’s African Cup of Nations, Super Eagles forward, Moses Simon, seems to be enjoying his time back in the country, as evidenced by the latest pictures he posted on social media, Soccernet.ng reports

The 27-year-old, who is known for giving back to his people through charity organizations, is using his recent freedom from the demanding European football season to spend time with his fans.

He moved to his Twitter handle to reveal his latest engagements with his fans.

He wrote: “Big shoutout to all the amazing fans who came out to support us in the novelty match yesterday.Your energy and enthusiasm made the atmosphere electric It was an absolute pleasure to step onto the field in the very hayin banki where I grew up thanks to you all for Ur support HB👏🏾”

The Nigerian forward made 38 appearances last season for Nantes, scoring five goals, before joining the party that helped his country grab a 3-2 victory over Sierra Leone that secured the ticket to the African Cup of Nations.
