Manchester City or Inter Milan: Finidi George picks Champions League winner

Manchester City are tied to face Inter Milan Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul in the UEFA Champions League tie slated

Former Super Eagles star, Finidi George, has revealed that the 2022-23 English Premier League Champions, Manchester City, are the favourite to win the UEFA Champions League tie, Soccernet.ng reports.

Pep Guardiola’s troops, after showing the current champions Real Madrid the exit door with an aggregate score of 5 goals to 1, booked a place in the final of the 2022-23 Champions League campaign against Inter Milan.

George, speaking on Sports Salsa (Kennis 104.1FM) with Mix Master Mitchell Obi(Dsc), reveals that the Cityzens are his favourite to be crowned champions but noted that Blue-Blacks should not be underrated, having won it in the past.

La Beneamata, after with an aggregate of 3-nil against their closes neighbours AC Milan, booked their place in Istanbul, and are on course to secure the Champions League trophy after 13 years.

The Former Ajax star revealed that he would give the winner to Man City, but Inter Milan should not be underrated.

“My heart says Manchester City. I will give it to Man City.  But, from my experience, you cannot write off Inter Milan because they have won it in the past, and they can still do it,” he said.

All eyes will be at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium when the Etihad outfit will be looking to secure their first Champions League trophy against Inter Milan. City, who are the favourites, will anticipate a tough tie against the Formidable Milan.
