Glasgow Rangers have earlier shown interest in luring Cyriel Dessers from US Cremonese, they now target another Nigerian who has shown outstanding performance for his club
Scottish side, Glasgow Rangers, have reportedly made a surprise offer to secure the signature of Nigerian wing-back, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian defender has been on the radar of some top English clubs like Brentford FC, Leeds United, and AFC Bournemouth, who are looking to bolster their squad with his talent.
Recent reports by Turkish media, Sporx, however revealed that Joe Aribo’s former club has tabled an offer to secure his signature despite Leeds United reportedly opening talks on his future.
Previous reports reveal that the Turkish giants are looking to release the Nigerian star for a fee in the region of £12 million, for which the Cherries are interested in his service for a fee of £9 million.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth not being able to meet up with the demand has reportedly topped the main reason he could not revive his return back to England at the tail end of the January transfer window.
Although, Brentford FC have reportedly tabled an offer to meet the asking price of the Yellow Canaries.
Sporx did not reveal the amount tabled by the Gers but through their reports, it states that Osayi-Samuel’s team are yet to reply to the offer.
Meanwhile, if rumours are true, the former QPR star is tied to the Turkish club till 2025, but while elite clubs in Europe are knocking on Ali Koc’s door, a move to join the Bees will help the Nigerian star’s growth.
