Soccernet reports that Barcelona Femeni star Oshoala makes the team after her heroics with her club, winning the Spanish League and the Champions League. Also, pacy Atletico Madrid Femeni forward Ajibade makes the cut.

Oparanozie will also be part of the team after her short exile that saw her miss out on the last Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. The 29-year-old forward will be making her fourth World Cup appearance for the Super Falcons.

Veteran defender Onome Ebi is also on the team. She will be making her sixth appearance at the World Cup. This means that she will be joint second with Japan’s Homare Sawa for the second most World Cups attended. Brazil’s Formiga has the highest number of World Cup appearances(7).
