Watch: ‘You still don’t know what you did’- Ex-Manchester City star chats with Osimhen after winning Scudetto for Napoli

Victor Osimhen has notched 22 goals and provided 5 assists in 27 domestic league appearances for Napoli this season

Former Manchester City and Liverpool forward, Mario Balotelli, has joined a few other football celebrities from across the world to commemorate Victor Osimhen, soccernet.ng reports

The Nigerian sensation scored a fantastic goal against Udinese on Thursday night to lead the Neapolitans to their third Italian Scudetto and bring his Serie A goal total for the season to 22.

Osimhen is still unaware of the full scope of the fantastic things he achieved for the Gli Azzurri this season, according to the former Inter Milan striker, who recently connected with Osimhen and earlier teased him about joining Napoli.

The 13th minute saw an unmarked Sandi Lovric score from within the penalty area for Udinese, who also wanted to spoil their jubilation by giving Luciano Spalletti’s squad a stressful start.

But to snap Napoli’s 33-year scudetto drought, the Super Eagles striker hammered the ball into the top left corner of the goal after Marco Silvestri palmed Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s low effort into his path.

Following that, Balotelli joined the party and congratulated his buddy in a live chat.

“You did something incredible my friend,” he stated. “You still don’t know what you did, trust me. You will realise in years, not tomorrow, not next year, [but] in ten years, you will understand what you did. It’s amazing.” he continued.

The Italian said, “Don’t care [about] how you feel, you are champion,” to the Nigerian attacker’s admission that he is currently unsure of how to feel.

The Gli Azzurri are the reigning Italian Serie A champions with five games remaining, including matches against Fiorentina and Inter Milan.
