Difference Maker: Former Super Eagles coach and others shower praises on Awoniyi

Since his return from injury, Taiwo Awoniyi has hit form at the right time to ensure safety for the reds, and has been congratulated by many.

Former Super Eagles coach, Austin Owen Eguavoen, has showered praises on Nottingham Forest star, Taiwo Awoniyi, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Super Eagles forward has five goals in the previous three games, and his goals have helped Nottingham Forest remain afloat in the English top division, and he did not hesitate to share his jubilation on his social media page.

Austin Eguavoen, who is currently the NFF’s Technical Director, lavished admiration on the 25-year-old. “Lovely stuff,” he said.  “Congratulations to you and your family”.

Other Nigerian players joined the celebration to congratulate their countrymen on a job well done. Anthony Ujah, Akindele Alampasu, Odion Ighalo, Leicester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho, Hertha Berlin’s Chidera Ejuke, Terrem Moffi, Kenneth Omeruo and William Troost-Ekong.

Sheraldo Becker, Union Berlin’s striker partner, who has had an excellent season and is guiding Union to their first-ever possible Champions League season, also praised his old striking partner on a job well done. Former club colleagues Grischa Prömel and Leandro Barreiro congratulated Awoniyi as well.

It was a beauty to behold as even teammates Orel Mangala, Moussa Niakhaté and Brennan Johnson also continued the praise Garlour.

Nottingham Forest faces Crystal Palace on Sunday, and could see Awoniyi end his season at Selhurst park, should he continue his purple patch.
