Following his great performance for Villarreal, Samuel Chukwueze has caught the attention of several prominent European teams.
Specialist in African and international football, Malu Mpansikatu, recently gushed over Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian player gained notoriety this season as a result of his outstanding performance for Villarreal, which included dazzling Real Madrid with a brace in front of their home crowd.
The 24-year-old player was then lavished with praise by the Commentator, who said that he is one of those who helped to contribute to the victory of their club.
The pacey winger has notched a total of 13 goals in all 48 appearances for the Yellow Submarine this season, and his 11 assists make him the highest among Quique Setién’s troops.
Mpansikatu compares the Nigerian star to Neapolitan players, whose squad has grown to be adored by Africans, in a radio interview for the programme “Si Gonfia la Rete” on Radio Crc.
“Chukwueze is one of those that make the difference because you win when you have players like that. He’s devastating. He is absolutely a player from Naples who has become a team that is sympathetic to Africans. In Napoli, they see a little the realization of the African, so they see it as a suitable team for them.” he said, as quoted by Napoli Magazine
Since the Nigerian star’s contract with the Villarreal-based team expires in June 2024, his club will experience a busy summer transfer period as big European teams show interest.
