Al Hilal forward, Odion Ighalo, has declared his desire to be the best striker in the Saudi Pro League in light of his outstanding so far for his team.

The Nigerian star has been instrumental in his team’s success in the league this season, with 18 goals and two assists so far.

After scoring twice from the penalty spot in his side’s match against Al Nassr, the Nigerian established that he had set out to become the best striker in the league.

Ighalo scored twice for the Blue Waves—one in the 42nd minute and the other two minutes after the hour—to defeat Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr and claim all three points.

The Nigerian thus maintains the top place in the rankings for the Saudi Pro League goal scorers with 18 goals, two goals more than Talisca and seven goals more than Ronaldo.
