Watch: Chukwueze’s stunning goal against Real Madrid got the commentator mentioning Okocha and other Nigerian heroes

Nigerian superstar Chukwueze gave Nigerian fans something to shout for by scoring twice against Real Madrid

The Super Eagles star, Samuel Chukwueze, knocked down Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid with his incredible display at the Santiago Bernabéu, soccernet.ng understands.

Building on recent successes, The Yellow Submarine tightened its hold on a top-four track while also hurting Real Madrid’s bid for the La Liga crown.

The Nigerian hero was instrumental in their incredible triumph against The Vikings as his actions corrected his teammate’s expensive mistake, which resulted in an own-goal.

The Nigerian’s move sent White’s defender Nacho running for cover before he shot past Thibaut Courtois.

In the second half, Villarreal’s shoddy defending gave Brazilian Vinicius another opportunity, which he took advantage of to give the home team the lead in the opening minutes of the second-half.

Jose Morale’s goal after a VAR review was approved as a goal, re-tying the game with the visiting club.

Chukwueze put even more pressure on the Madrid defenders before scoring an incredible goal from beyond the area to give Quique Setién’s team the win.

After scoring, the commentator sings lyrically about names such as Austin Jay Jay Okocha, Finidi George, Daniel Amokachi, Nwankwo Kanu, Rashidi Yekini and a host of others to remind the crowd of Nigeria’s exceptional talents.

Watch the video here:

The Nigerian superstar now has the second-highest goal total (13 goals overall) and the most assist total (11 assists) on Setién’s squad.
