Watch: Al Hilal supporters sing Ighalo’s name after his side defeated Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr

Ighalo has been outstanding for the Riyadh-based team, presently topping the Saudi Pro League top scorers’ table with 18 goals.

Al Hilal supporters chant Odion Ighalo’s name following their derby victory against Al Nassr at the King Fahd International Stadium.

The team coached by Ramón Dáz was poised to win at home against Al Nassr after falling to Al-Batin on Friday by a score of 1-nil.

The home team won all three points from the squad that Cristiano Ronaldo commanded, thanks to two penalty kicks from Ighalo just before halftime and in the game’s 62nd minute.

Following this, the Nigerian holds the top spot on the list of Saudi Pro League goal scorers with 18 goals, earning him the admiration of everyone in Riyadh.

Fans of the team were heard shouting the name of the former Manchester United player as they clapped along with the songs, and the Nigerian star joined them.

With his goal-scoring talents, the former Watford striker has been excellent for the team this season, propelling them to both the King Cup of Champions semifinal and the AFC Champions League final.

The 33-year-old has 20 goals this season in all 27 games for his team, including his most recent strikes for the Blue Waves in their Riyadh derby.
