Report: Osimhen to be available for Napoli – Milan clash at Diego Maradona

Napoli have been battling to get Osimhen ready for their quarterfinal clash against Milan, and the Nigerian star looks like he could be back in the team when both teams meet in Naples

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen will be available when Napoli welcome AC Milan to the Diego Maradona Stadium in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen sustained a discomfort to his left adductor while on international duty with Nigeria. Because of this, he missed Napoli’s previous two games against AC Milan against Lecce.

The Partenopeans play AC Milan again in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash. But Osimhen’s fitness is yet to be ascertained ahead of the fixture. But it seems likely that he will miss out on the first leg.

Nonetheless, Corriere dello Sport per Napoli Magazine reports that Osimhen would be available when the Rossoneri travel to the Diego Maradona Stadium for the second leg on the 18th of April.

The last time both teams met, Osimhen was unavailable, and Napoli were destroyed 4-0. The 24-year-old talismanic striker would hope that his teammates put up a good show in the first leg.
