“Important 3 points”- Super Eagles star on Leicester’s win against Wolves

Leicester City defeated Wolves at the King Power Stadium with a score of 2 goals to 1

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, made comments on Leicester City’s victory against Wolverhampton on Saturday afternoon.

The Foxes have been doing all they can to escape the English Premier League’s danger zone after falling into the relegation zone.

The former KRC Genk player has used his social media platform to call for further wins in order to lift Dean Smith’s team totally out of the relegation zone after their triumph against Julen Lopetegui’s men.

Recall that Brendan Rodgers led the Blues to a dismal stretch of play this season, losing a number of their games and dropping them to the 19th spot in the league rankings, two points from the safety zone.

However, Leicester’s narrow loss puts them atop the relegation zone as they share points with 18th-place Everton after Nottingham Forest lost to Liverpool and 10-man Everton drew with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park Stadium.

Ndidi responded by expressing his happiness at the squad’s ability to turn things around after losing four in a row to Leicester and urging the squad to build on the win.

“Important 3 points. The fight continues,” Ndidi wrote on his social media page.

Leicester will have a bigger fish to fry in their last four games as they face relentless Fulham, Newcastle, Liverpool and West Ham United.
