Future Eagles crush Galadima Academy ahead of Dream Cup Invitational Tournament in Japan

The Nigerian U15 national team, the Future Eagles, has commenced training in Abuja for the upcoming Dream Cup Invitational Tournament in Japan.

The team aims to showcase their talent on the international stage and bring home the trophy.

The Future Eagles played their first friendly game against Galadima Academy and emerged victorious with a 3-0 scoreline, displaying their attacking prowess throughout the game.

They will face other strong U15 teams from around the world in the Dream Cup tournament, and the team hopes to continue their impressive form to win the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian U17 national team, known as the Golden Eaglets, will embark on a training tour of Germany next week in preparation for the CAF U17 African Nations Cup.

A top official from the Nigerian Football Federation confirmed that the team would leave the country between Monday and Wednesday.

The tournament will feature 12 nations for the first time, with Algeria playing Somalia in the opening match on April 29th.

The Flying Eagles, Nigeria’s U20 squad, will not resume their FIFA World Cup preparation until the departure of the Eaglets, and they will start their preparation next week for the FIFA U20 World Cup that will commence on May 20th, 2023.
