WATCH: Struggling Nigerian forward Dennis itches for Nottingham Forest start with an absolute blinder

The Nigerian talent has only featured in 13 domestic league games for Nottingham Forest, scoring just one goal

Super Eagles star, Emmanuel Dennis, who plays for Nottingham Forest, was seen scoring an incredible goal during practice.

It’s reasonable to assume that the Super Eagles forward desires to take part as the Tricky Trees practise in anticipation of their match against Newcastle United tomorrow night in an effort to snap their five-game losing streak.

The 25-year-old moved to the City Ground Stadium during the 2022 summer transfer window, but his playing time has been limited under Steve Cooper.

His strong performance with Watford, where he scored 10 EPL goals, didn’t make it seem like a poor purchase for Nottingham before he moved to West Bridgford.

But, since August, the Abuja native has only played in 13 Premier League games for the Reds, scoring just one goal—which came in October against Aston Villa—and providing just one assist

Since February 1st, the former Club Brugge attacker has not been a starter. Then, he was set to start on the bench against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup, but Jesse Lingard’s injury during warm-ups required him to replace him.

The striker has recently started to come off the bench a bit more frequently. He showed off particularly well during a 3-1 loss to Spurs last week, and he is now itching for a start.

However, the Nigerian has demonstrated a greater desire to join Cooper’s side in recent training sessions after scoring a spectacular goal.

He performed some sneaky dribbles before unleashing an unstoppable attempt in the direction of the goal. His shot hit the bar, bounced down, and then rippled to the net.

Watch the Video here:

Cooper’s men have lost three games and drawn two in their previous five Premier League appearances, and as they look more desperate to get back to winning ways, the ex-FC Köln man yearns for a start in the game based on his exploits in training.
