The headmaster! Super Osimhen powers Napoli to big win at Torino

Osimhen put up another superb show to power Napoli to a big victory

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen scored a brace to help Napoli to a resounding 4-0 victory over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino.

Napoli traveled to Torino for their 27th game in Serie A this season. As usual, Nigeria striker Osimhen led the line for the Partenopeans as they looked to put more daylight between them and second-placed Inter Milan.

The Partenopeans had a dream start, going ahead in the opening through their Nigerian star. The 24-year-old jumped highest to meet a corner from Piotr Zielinski and scored with a strong header.

Torino tried to regain their feet after going behind, but they could not stop a rampaging Napoli attack, as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored from the penalty spot in the 35th minute.

Napoli took the lead into the break, and they returned with more firepower in the second half. They were rewarded just six minutes into the period. Mathias Olivera dinked the ball into the Torino area, and Osimhen was there to send a well-placed header past Vanja Milinkovic-Savic and make it 3-0.

The Partenopeans got their fourth of the tie in the 68th minute, and Osimhen was in the mix again. He supplied a key pass to Kvaratskhelia, who set up Tanguy Ndombele to make it 4-0.

Osimhen was taken off in the 71st minute. His efforts were enough to seal the 4-0 win for Napoli. They sit 21 points above Inter Milan, who have a game in hand. Osimhen now has 21 goals in Serie A.
