Sizzling Middlesbrough forward, Chuba Akpom, has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship award for the second time in the 2022-23 season campaign.
The British-Nigerian added five goals to his goal tally in the English second tier, guiding his team to four victories in five games in February.
The former Arsenal player, who has played in 28 matches for Boro and scored a total of 19 goals, has been nominated for the monthly award along with his manager, Michael Carrick, in recognition of their efforts in the month of February.
Not to forget that the former PAOK player, who was up for the same accolade in December, won it after putting on a strong display for the Riverside-based team, scoring a hat-trick against Wigan Athletic and a goal against Luton Town FC.
Tom Bradshaw (Millwall), Hjalmar Ekdal (Burnley), and Kyle McFadzean (Coventry City) are the other contenders for the Player of the Month honour, which the 27-year-old will battle out.
