Asisat Oshoala’s Barcelona Femeni to sport Rosalia ‘motomami’ logo on El clasico Jersey

Asisat Oshoala has scored 18 goals in her past 11 outings for Barça Femen in all competitions

Barcelona Femeni will don a Rosalia badge on their jersey when they meet Real Madrid Femenino in El Clásico.

The Spaniards declared that the “Motomami” will take the place of the Spotify logo when Asisat Oshoala and her colleagues square off against Alberto Toril’s women at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.

The “Motomami” logo, which was the title of her third studio album, was released in 2022.

One of Spain’s best-known singers, Rosalia has twice been recognised by Forbes as the country’s woman of the year.

Therefore, as part of the sponsorship agreement Barcelona reached in 2022 with music streaming service Spotify, worth approximately 280 million euros ($299 million) over four years, the club can highlight different artists on their jersey, which was earlier Drake’s “OVO Owl” logo, and now Rosalia.

The team didn’t market duplicate shirts with the Drake emblem, but they did release 1899 copies of this comic strip and 22 special edition jerseys with glow-in-the-dark writing that cost 1,999.99 euros ($2,136) apiece.

The Super Falcon, as her club announced on the social media platform, will be counted on to maintain her goal-scoring form to lead her side to victory on the crucial occasion.

The 28-year-old has been a reliable performer for Barcelona Femeni, scoring 23 goals in all competitions, which is now the most in Laliga Femeni.
