“Really Amazing”– Victor Osimhen responds to Napoli’s social media post on his goal against Spezia

Victor Osimhen, who has been a standout for Luciano Spalletti’s side this season, scored his second brace against Spezia.

Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, responds to a video of him shared on Napoli’s social media platform.

The video footage revealed one of the forward’s goals in their 3-nil victory against Spezia at the Alberto Picco Stadium on Saturday.

Osimhen’s initial goal effort was disallowed, but ten minutes later, he headed in his fifteenth goal of the season after out jumping everyone, including goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski.

However, as the star rose to head in the goal, Osimhen reportedly jumped to a height of 2.58 meters (a height typical to great NBA players), according to Corriere dello Sport (via Tutto Napoli).

Osimhen broke the previous record for the Italian Serie A, which stood at 2.56 meters and was established by Cristiano Ronaldo for Juventus against Sampdoria in 2019.

Napoli in admiration of the goal took to their official page on Twitter to post with the video with the following caption.

Watch the video here:

“👀 Hey @victorosimhen9, how’s the view from up there?” the page handler questions.

However, in response to the remark, the Super Eagles striker expressed his astonishment at the goal

“Really amazing 💙🤍💙😁” he responded.

Following their victory against Spezia, the Nigerian striker increased his goal total to 16, surpassing his fellow countryman Ademola Lookman, who is in second position with 4 goals.
