Moffi sends warning to Ligue 1 clubs after heroics at Monaco

Moffi scored his first goal for Nice over the weekend, and he seems to be motivated to do more

Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi is looking to score more goals this season after almost single-handedly helping Nice claim a 3-0 victory against Monaco on Sunday.

Moffi started the season on fire, scoring twelve goals in 18 appearances for Lorient. His displays caught the eye of sides like Southampton, Everton, West Ham, Olympique Marseille, and Nice.

However, he opted for a move to Nice. The 23-year-old Super Eagles striker failed to find the net in his first three games for Les Aiglons. But he changed the status quo on Sunday, as he scored two beautiful goals and supplied an assist for Nice’s third.

Moffi now has 14 goals for the season, but he wants more. He has promised his admirers that there would be more. “Just getting started”, he wrote on his Twitter page.

Next for Moffi and his Nice side is a home fixture against Auxerre. The last time the Nigeria striker played against Auxerre, he found the net. He would look to add to his tally when he faces them again-this time at Nice.
