“Grateful and Honoured”– Super Falcons star spotted with Casemiro, Van Dijk and others

While FIFA recognises and honours several top players who performed very well in the year 2022, France once again gave hospitality to some great names

No Nigerian made the cut for FIFA The Best award, but the Nigerian star, Chiamaka Nnadozie, made it to the award ceremony.

In the event, which was held in Paris on Monday evening, the Nigerian star was spotted with some football stars like Manchester United’s Carlos Casimiro, Didier Drogba, Virgil van Dijk, and Emiliano Martínez.

The FIFA football event, which serves as its premier awards ceremony, primarily serves as a place for recognizing the top players and their accomplishments each year in international football.

Once the nominees are narrowed down, big stars from the game are honoured and presented with awards for their contributions to both men’s and women’s football.

The Super Falcons’ goalie who plays for Paris FC was granted entry to the invite-only gathering since she was invited.

While Lionel Messi was bagging his seventh-best-player award, the Nigerian was chilling with grandeur and honour as she caught up with other football players at the event, according to a picture she shared on her social media page.

“The best fifa football award paris ❤ grateful and honoured 🙏” she wrote.

The Super Falcons’ goalkeeper had a part in both of their victories against Costa Rica and their defeat in Mexico as the Nigerian women’s team prepared for the imminent World Cup tournament.

Following the event, the award night would be expected to boost her spirits to win one for herself when the Super Falcons march on to represent Nigeria on the global stage.
