“Both have exceptional pace” – Frankfurt boss Glasner compares Victor Osimhen to French forward ahead of UCL clash

The Nigerian international has been outstanding for Luciano Spalletti’s men, scoring a sizable number of goals.

Eintracht Frankfurt manager Oliver Glasner has likened his player Randal Kolo Muani to Nigerian attacker Victor Osimhen.

The Austrian reckons the two strikers have excellent skills that would give everyone a nice performance in the game ahead of their UEFA Champions League match.

This season, the Super Eagles’ talisman has excelled for the Parthenopeans, netting 19 goals across all competitions for Luciano Spalletti’s team.

The French international, on the other hand, has also excelled for the Eagles, scoring 15 goals across all competitions, including 2 goals in the UEFA Champions League.

The former VfL Wolfsburg boss praised both players at the pregame press conference and drew parallels.

“Both have exceptional pace,” he stated via the Club’s website.

The 48-year-old points out that both players are currently ranked among Europe’s top five strikers.

“Osimhen is a tad more robust. Randal plays off the shoulder more often, whereas Osimhen is a hold-up player who pops the ball off for the forward-running midfielders. Both are currently among the top five strikers in Europe.” he continued.

There will be fireworks at the Deutsche Bank Park on Tuesday as the two teams will meet for the first time since 1994. Previously, Frankfurt defeated the Gli Azzurri in the last 16, and Luciano Spalletti’s men will be marching down to Germany for revenge.
