The Flying Eagles are set to fly to Cairo, but they have one last stop
Nigeria’s Under-20 team, the Flying Eagles will take on Moroccan club Kawkab Athletic(Under-20) in their final preparatory game for the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Ladan Bosso-led team has been camped in Morocco for the last five days as they prepare for the upcoming tourney in Egypt. And they seem to have settled well into the terrain in Marrakech.
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles defeated Congo-Brazzaville 2-0 in their first friendly game.
They were supposed to square off against the Central African Republic U-20 in their second test game. However, the game was called off.
The Nigeria Football Federation have now announced that the Flying Eagles will play Moroccan club Kawkab U-20 on Wednesday in their final preparatory game before traveling to Egypt on Thursday for the Nations Cup.
The match’s kick-off is scheduled to occur at 5 p.m. at the Complexe Sportif, Sidi Mohammed, Ain Sebaa, Casablanca.
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will play their first game of the AFCON on Sunday against the Cub Lions of Senegal. Their subsequent group stage game will be against Mozambique and Egypt.
