Victor Osimhen’s agent opens up on Napoli future amid transfer rumours

The Nigerian international’s excellent performance for this team has captured the Neapolitan supporters’ hearts.

Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda has said that his client is content at Napoli and hopes to win titles there.

He claims that the Nigerian player has a fantastic rapport with the Parthenopean fans having won their heart with his impressive performances.

Following his outstanding performance for Luciano Spalletti’s team, the Super Eagles attacker has been linked with a number of European teams.

The striker now sits three goals ahead of his countryman Ademola Lookman in the Serie A scoring standings with 12 goals.

However, this has attracted attention from a number of teams, notably Manchester United, who are supposedly leading the battle to recruit the 24-year-old as Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement.

Meanwhile, in a conversation with Corriere Dello Sport as quoted by Tutto Napoli, his representative downplayed the transfer speculations that claimed Osimhen might be heading to England:

“Victor is fine, happy and perfectly integrated with the people. At the stadium he is the first to party, to dance with the fans. His goal is to win with this team and give a dream to a city he loves. There is nothing else than this.” He said.

The Italian went on to discuss Osimhen’s development and what he would be ready to contribute as things progressed.

“Victor is a natural, physically devastating talent, I think the key is continuity. He has been penalized by injuries and is now able to express his potential with serenity. He is working well with the team, understanding and harmony are growing, and with Spalletti’s advice he is continuously improving. He’s in full maturity.” he added.

The Nigerian striker will still be hoping to add to his goal total as his club welcomes Bottom team Cromenese at Diego Maradona Stadium despite being separated from his Neapolitan supporters for two months.
