Super Eagles forward claims Italian manager is an “important source of inspiration” for him

The Super Eagles attacker has been excellent in Serie A this season and has credited his manager for his progress.

Super Eagles attacker, Victor Osimhen, has revealed that his Manager, Luciano Spalletti, has been instrumental in his growth as a player.

According to him, the Italian boss has helped him gain confidence on and off the pitch and also helped with improving his techniques as a striker.

It is no longer news that the Nigerian footballer has been the subject of debate so far this season, having broken some goal tallies for himself and as a Nigerian in the Italian league.

The Super Eagles forward have scored 12 goals for Spalletti’s side, putting him three goals ahead of Ademola Lookman in the league.

The Nigerian striker, who has sparked the attention of several European powerhouses, has admitted that he would not have reached this level without the guidance of his manager.

“Spalletti is an important source of inspiration for me, he gives me many indications on and off the pitch, and we often do tactical work after matches. He helps me to have more confidence in myself and also to improve my technique. I’m very happy with the relationship I have with him.” On Kiss Kiss Napoli, Osimhen disclosed to Radio Goal.

The Nigerian forward was injured during his side’s 4-1 triumph against Liverpool, but he has put in an outstanding performance for himself and his club since his comeback.
