The former Enugu Rangers man has been impressive in the last two seasons, and he has been snapped up by a top Turkish side
Nigerian forward Ibrahim Olawoyin has left Turkish League two side Ankara Keciorengucu for Turkish Super Lig club Caykur Rizespor.
Olawoyin left Nigeria Professional Football League side Enugu Rangers for Turkish lower league side Ankara Keciorengucu in 2021, and he became an instant hit at the club.
The 25-year-old attacker sharply slotted into the club in his first season. Last season, Olawoyin registered eight goals and eight assists in 33 appearances for the league two side.
This season, he has continued in the same vein. Olawoyin has recorded four goals and seven assists in 17 appearances for Ankara Keciorengucu.
The former Abia Warriors man is known for his great dribbling ability. This season, he has averaged three dribbles per game. And he has over 50 percent accuracy with his dribbles.
His displays have not gone unnoticed, as Turkish Super Lig side Caykur Rizespor have confirmed that they have signed him.
“Çaykur Rizespor has reached an agreement in principle with Ankara Keçiörengücü for the transfer of İbrahim Olawoyin to our club,” they wrote on the club’s website.
