Ndidi, Iheanacho in action for the Foxes as Tosin’s Fulham edge past Leicester at King Power

Leicester city are now 13th in the Premier League standings and three points above the relegation zone.

Nigerian internationals, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho, were both in action for Leicester City in their defeat to Fulham city.

Fulham extended their impressive run on Tuesday evening and also gave Brendan Rogers more cause for concern after suffering his third consecutive loss.

Super Eagles defensive midfielder, Ndidi, started for the Foxes as Aleksandar Mitrovic’s fired home from close range in the 17th minute.

The striker’s goal, though, was sufficient to secure the Cottagers’ third straight win since the post-World Cup fixtures resumed.

Ndidi gave Rogers’ team an excellent performance in his 72 minutes for the Foxes by making a shot, winning two aerial duels, completing 71.4 of his passes successfully, and ultimately rating 6.81 higher than his previous four matches.

After he was replaced by Papy Mendy, Youri Tielemans almost pulled one back in the 80th minute, but his effort went futile as his shot went against the crossbar.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho was subbed in to replace Luke Thomas but was unable to make a difference to assist his side get a draw at home.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles prospect Tosin Adarabioyo, who recently invited former super eagles coach Austin Eguavoen to watch his match against Crystal Palace was also in action for his side’s victory over Leicester.

Although the English born of Nigerian heritage, who was recently snubbed for the World Cup, may be switching to the Super Eagles side after bringing the Super Eagles’ technical director to witness his team thrash Crystal Palace 3-0.

Tosin outperformed his previous three games by winning two ariel duels, making 91.8 successful passes, and being rated 6.81 against the East Midlands team.
