Former Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard converses with two Super Eagles forwards in Pidgin English.
The Englishman recorded a video with the two Super Eagles star, Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis while they walk on the streets.
Recall that during the most recent transfer window, the Super Eagles players moved from their various teams to the City ground.
Awoniyi transferred from Union Berlin for around £17.5 million, and Dennis of Nigeria joined him.
In previous reports by Soccernet.ng, the former Gent player stated his relationship with Dennis as a strong one they’ve both developed since they were both in Belgium.
The striker, while speaking to Nottinghamhirelive revealed that team bonding was one of the major things that could help his team bounce from the English Premier League relegation zone.
“Football is a team sport, it’s not an individual thing. The way you get along together is really important.” He said.
Additionally, the World Cup break would be beneficial.
“I think the break can be good for us because we’ve been together for a few weeks now. We understand each other better.
“It can be a kind of bonus for us. We haven’t been together long, so this is a chance for us to build more and more. It can be a good advantage for us.” he said.
Awoniyi posted a video of himself, his countryman, Dennis, and his teammate Jesse Lingard relaxing on his social media page to show how well he and his teammates were getting along.
The British player was seen and overheard conversing in Pidgin English with his colleagues.
