Czech Republic midfielder reveals why Olayinka should quit Slavia Prague for Fenerbahce

Olayinka has been a consistent performer for Slavia Prague over the years, and Folprecht feels it is time for him to test new waters

Czech Republic footballer Zdenek Folprecht has urged Super Eagles striker Peter Olayinka to dump Slavia Prague for Fenerbahce.

Olayinka has been great for Slavia Prague since he joined in 2018. The Super Eagles striker has registered 43 goals and 23 assists in 169 appearances for the former Czech Republic champions.

The 27-year-old has also enjoyed success, winning three League triumphs and two Cup titles.

However, Olayinka has been heavily linked with a transfer away from Prague in the last two seasons, and his likely destination is the Turkish Super Lig.

FC Vlasim midfielder Zdenek Folprecht believes Olayinka deserves to make a big move, and Slavia Prague is the best destination.

“If I could communicate with Olayinka, I would advise him to leave and move on”, Folprect told Fotospor.

“Fenerbahce has a bigger name in the world than Slavia, they play with players around the world.

“They are leaders in their league, there is a great atmosphere in the stands. Fenerbahce has a bigger stadium. They probably have more money. The prestige of the club is higher than Slavia Prague.

Olayinka’s contract at the end of the season, and talks over a new contract have not been progressive. The Nigerian attacker will be free to talk to other clubs in January.
