Super Falcons star nominated for Atletico Madrid Femenino Player of the Month

The Nigerian forward was in blistering form in October and she has been recognized for her efforts

Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade has been nominated for the October Player of the Month Award at Atletico Madrid Femenino.

Ajibade was in outstanding form the Atletico in October. After a largely unproductive September, the 22-year-old striker sparked to life in October.

The Super Falcons star was involved in five of Atletico Madrid’s twelve goals in October, including her first-ever haul for Atletico Madrid in their 5-0 spanking of Huelva.

Her efforts helped Atletico Madrid Femenino secure eight points from a possible fifteen in the Laliga Femeni.

Las Colchoneras recognize her efforts, and she has been nominated for the player of the month for October.

Ajibade will contest the prize alongside Ainhoa Moraza, Ludmila Silva, Shei, and Estefania Banini.

The Super Falcons star has struck four goals in seven games for Atletico Madrid Femenino this season. If she continues at her current trajectory, she could beat her season-best of ten league goals in this campaign.
